Job Title: SEN Tutor Wigan Location: Wigan (community-based or in-home sessions) Pay Rate: £30 per hour (starting rate) Job Type: Part-Time | Flexible Hours About the Role Prospero Teaching is looking for a compassionate and dedicated SEN Tutor to provide one-to-one tuition to students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in Wigan. In this role, you will work with students who may have Autism, ADHD, SEMH (Social, Emotional and Mental Health), or other learning challenges. Your mission will be to offer personalised, supportive learning tailored to each students individual needs, helping them thrive academically and build their confidence. Key Responsibilities Deliver one-to-one tuition in core subjects (Maths, English, Science, etc.) to students with SEN, adapting lessons to suit their unique learning profiles. Develop personalised lesson plans and use strategies to support both academic development and emotional regulation. Build a positive, trusting relationship with students to create a safe and encouraging learning environment. Monitor and track student progress, providing regular feedback to parents, carers, or professionals involved in the students education.
