What You’ll Be Doing
Reporting to the Security Duty Manager, your responsibilities will include:
1. Providing 24/7 security for Goodwood House and surrounding buildings
2. Responding to alarms, incidents, and emergencies with professionalism and care
3. Conducting regular patrols and maintaining a visible security presence
4. Monitoring CCTV and managing communications from the control room
5. Supporting estate-wide operations, including events and emergency response
6. Upholding the estate’s high standards and promoting our core values
This permanent full-time position involves a rotating shift pattern of 42 hours per week, consisting of two day shifts, two night shifts, followed by four days off.
What You’ll Bring
We’re looking for someone with:
7. 5+ years’ experience in a professional security role (preferred)
8. An SIA Door Supervisor Licence (essential); Close Protection Licence (desirable)
9. A First Aid at Work certificate (essential)
10. A valid manual driving licence
11. Strong communication, conflict management, and organisational skills
12. A calm, proactive, and adaptable approach – especially under pressure
13. A passion for delivering exceptional service with integrity and discretion
