Job Title: Specialist Occupational Therapist
Job Location: The Grange, Thatcham, RG19
Salary: Between £38,005.50 - £45,513 pa, based on 37.5 hours/week, 42 weeks/year
Contract Type: Permanent – Term Time Only - Full Time and Part Time Considered

A day in the life of a Specialist Occupational Therapist includes:
* Taking a neurodiverse affirming and trauma-informed approach within a small caseload of pupils with neurodiverse needs.
* Assessing, designing indirect therapy programs, providing advice and consultations, and delivering direct therapy.
* Collaborating with the integrated therapy team, including Speech and Language Therapists and Creative Art Therapists.
* Designing and delivering training and mentoring for colleagues, supported by the Clinical Lead, to develop the occupational therapy services within our college.
To be successful, you’ll need:
* A recognized postgraduate qualification in Occupational Therapy, including qualification in Sensory Integration and Processing, with HCPC registration and RCOT membership.
* Extensive experience as an Occupational Therapist.
* Ability to complete or contribute to capacity assessments.
* Good IT skills; familiarity with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, Teams) is helpful.
* A full driving license, as travel to other sites including Tiverton Hub may be required.
