Reference: 86c3f6d6 I am a young man with Autism and ADHD seeking a PA to support me to remain independent and access the community. I currently do not go anywhere without my family and I would like a PA who can accompany me outside of the house for social and leisure activities, such as going on dog walks, visiting local shops and outdoor parks. I do not have a strong awareness of safety and require someone who will supervise me closely when out and about. I love playing games on my X-box and looking after my pets - my ferrets and dogs are very important to me so it's essential my PA is an animal lover. I am not a shy person, and I will talk to anybody, but I do struggle with social boundaries. Someone who can support me to better understand these boundaries would be ideal. It would also be beneficial to have a PA who can support me to be more active and engage in activities such as going for walks with my dogs, as well as encouraging me with my personal care such as brushing my teeth and wearing clean clothing. I am a chatty young man with a good sense of humour, who is very caring. I can however be stubborn at times and require someone with a strong character who can put firm boundaries in place. I need somebody who won't take offence if I say something silly, but rather tell me not to be silly and move on. I would also like someone who is friendly, whom I can build a good rapport with.
