This busy, friendly Ultrasound department has a vacancy for a Radiology Assistant. The post is based mainly at Aintree University Hospital; some rotation to the Royal Liverpool, Broadgreen and community sites may be required. You will work closely with Radiographers, Sonographers, Radiologists and clerical teams, caring for a wide range of patients and assisting with radiology‑based procedures and examinations.
Key Responsibilities
* Set up and assist with radiology procedures and examinations.
* Provide post‑procedure aftercare.
* Aid imaging staff as a chaperone.
Working Hours
Monday – Friday 08:30 – 17:00.
Scope for further weekend, evening and bank holiday work is also expected.
Qualifications
* Previous NHS health‑care experience an advantage.
* NVQ Level 2 or equivalent in a health‑care based area expected.
