Overall purpose
To provide support for Portfolio Manager in first level credit risk analysis and portfolio management.
To develop your analytical skills and product knowledge.
Main Responsibilities
As an intern reporting to a senior analyst at Natixis, you will be involved in supporting various aspects of credit risk management for a diverse portfolio of counterparties trading with us.
Your responsibilities will include:
1. Assisting in the initial and ongoing assessment of the creditworthiness of counterparties through financial analysis & internal credit scoring.
2. Providing support in making recommendations on the size and tenor of credit limits for approval.
3. Assisting in performing annual credit reviews for counterparties in the assigned portfolio, esp. in the commodities sector.
4. Building and maintaining strong working relationships with internal stakeholders in the business, coverage, legal, middle office, and risk.
5. Assisting in regular portfolio analysis, monitoring, and reporting.
Responsible for producing:
6. Draft credit analyses.
7. Portfolio reports.
8. Portfolio data.
Profil et compétences requises
• Degree qualified or currently pursuing a bachelor's degree in a related field.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel/Microsoft Office.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
• Familiarity with accounting and/or financial statements is advantageous.
• Proficiency in English.
