What we are recruiting for:
The paralegal and company secretariat assistant position is a wide ranging role supporting the inhouse legal and compliance team at Bovis.
* Maintain and develop reporting and record keeping of legal and compliance/company secretariat matters.
* DocuSign champion for the legal team including DocuSign administrator and training of project teams.
* Update and develop the legal and compliance pages on the Bovis intranet.
* Assist project team with appointments and ancillary documents.
* Assist the governance and compliance manager with board meetings including preparing board papers, resolutions.
Experience & background:
* Qualifications to a degree level or equivalent in law and/or company secretariat (such as NALP, Chartered Institute of Governance or working towards)
* Experienced in paralegal and company secretariat work ideally including supporting in-house legal and compliance teams
* Excellent communication skills and attention to detail.
* Demonstrated ability to work as part of a team
* Prioritise workload and great time management skills.
* Problem solve and find solutions.
* Administration and IT skills including Microsoft Word, Excel and PowerPoint.
