FTE Salary: Up to £37,545.00 (Salary is dependent on qualifications and industry experience) + Industry recruitment uplift reviewed annually (Dependent on qualifications and experience)
Contract Type: Full Time, Permanent
Working Hours: 37 hours per week

Key Tasks and Responsibilities
14. SGS College’s Construction Faculty have an exciting opportunity for a Maintenance Lecturer. The ideal candidate will have experience of delivering to FT learners 16-18 on L1 and L2 programmes on Plastering and Painting and Decorating. In addition, hold a level 2 qualification in construction trades and teaching or assessing qualifications.
15. Be responsible for curriculum planning, development and implementation in your department
16. Ensure effective implementation of the College Quality Management system and Quality review schedule within the area
17. Effectively manage all aspects of quality within the department to ensure development and progress for both staff and learners
18. Effective use of management information to raise the quality of learning, including improving attendance, retention, achievement, progression and value added.
19. Value diversity and promote equal opportunities
20. Work within health and safety guidelines and be aware of your responsibilities for health and safety.
21. Adhere to college policies and procedures, including Data Protection
22. Be responsible for safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children, young people and/or vulnerable adults
