Hours: 32.5hrs per week, 39 weeks per year

We are seeking a caring, skilled and enthusiastic Level 3 SEND Teaching Assistant to join our dedicated team and provide high-quality support for pupils with Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND).
This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced teaching assistant who is passionate about inclusion and making a positive difference to children's educational and personal development.
The Role
The successful candidate will:
•Provide targeted support for pupils with a range of SEND needs, including communication and interaction needs, cognition and learning needs, social, emotional and mental health needs, and sensory and/or physical needs.
•Work closely with class teachers, the SENDCo and external professionals to deliver personalised learning and support programmes.
•Support pupils both within the classroom and through individual or small-group interventions.
•Promote independence, confidence and positive engagement in learning.
•Contribute to assessing, monitoring and recording pupil progress.
•Support pupils' emotional wellbeing and social development.
•Help create an inclusive environment where every child feels safe, valued and successful.
We Are Looking for Someone Who:
•Holds a Level 3 Teaching Assistant qualification (or equivalent).
•Has experience of supporting children with SEND in a primary school setting.
•Has a good understanding of inclusive practice and strategies to support a range of additional needs.
•Can build positive relationships with children, families and colleagues.
•Demonstrates patience, empathy and resilience.
•Has strong communication and organisational skills.
•Is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
•Works effectively as part of a team and is willing to contribute to the wider life of the school.
