Job Description

Financial Accountant - Coleraine - Permanent We’re currently recruiting for a Permanent, Full-Time Financial Accountant to join a dynamic finance team based in Coleraine. About the role:
1. £Competitive salary

8. Hybrid working upon successful completion of probation
Key Responsibilities
9. Assist with the timely production of monthly management accounts for all companies within the
Group.
10. Calculation of accruals and prepayments for the Group.
11. Maintenance of key schedules such as fixed asset register, prepayments & accruals and intercompany
accounts
12. Responsibility of all Balance Sheet movements
13. Assist in the preparation of the Group's annual financial statements and annual audit.
14. Assist in preparation of group corporation tax and group VAT returns
15. Assist in the preparation of budgets, forecasts and key performance indicators for the Group.
16. Assist in the monitoring of financial controls for the Group and assist in internal audit activities as
required
17. Maintenance of nominal ledger including transaction auditing, journal posting and expense coding.
18. Assist with ad hoc investigations and reports, while ensuring that scheduled reports are produced and
circulated in accordance with agreed deadlines.
Criteria:
19. Qualified Accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA or equivalent)
20. Minimum of 2 years previous industry experience
21. Previous experience of supervising or managing a team
22. Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
23. Excellent interpersonal communication, analytical and problem-solving skills
24. Competent in IT i.e. Microsoft office, and in particular, extensive experience with Excel
