Overview
Reporting to the Estates Manager, the Estates Officer will have responsibility for the management and development of the in-house team of Estates personnel (circa 20) comprising Mechanical, Electrical and Fabric, ensuring a cohesive and collaborative approach to service delivery is maintained. Key to the success of this role will be to develop and maintain key relationships with a range of stakeholders including Estates Managers, Operatives, Engineers, and external supply chain in order to deliver excellent service to end users and to ensure a "fit for purpose" service is delivered and maintained across the Trust. The Estates Officer will also lead on the management of statutory compliance across the Trust relating to Asbestos Management, control of Legionella, Electricity at Work, Pressure Vessel Systems, COSHH, Gas Safety (Corgi), DDA, CDM, NHS HTMs and HBNs Guidance Documents.

Qualifications
* Experience at working within a large and mixed-use property portfolio.
* Experience of managing large multi-disciplined teams of managers and engineers.
* Experience of managing a complex array of internal and external stakeholders.
* A qualification aligned with Estate Management / Built Environment i.e., Engineering (mechanical or electrical) or Building (surveying or construction).
* NHS / Hospital experience is advantageous but not essential.
