As part of our new UK team, you will help re-engineer and optimize our existing prototype, shaping the next generation of our products. Youll work alongside leading engineers, blending creative problem-solving with hands-on prototyping, testing, and design refinement. Key Responsibilities Contribute to the design, development, and testing of high-efficiency mechanical systems Translate design concepts into precise CAD models, simulations and best design practices Assemble and validate mechanical components using high-precision instrumentation Support alignment of design with scalable manufacturing methods Collaborate with international R&D teams, including travel to the USA What Were Looking For We're hiring an elite group of engineers and technicians to cover a range of the following skills: CAD: SolidWorks, Onshape or similar Simulation: Proficiency with stress, rotor-dynamics, thermal analysis. CFD knowledge useful. Design Engineering: Strong background in DfM, DfA, GD&T, FMEA, tolerance management. Useful specialities: DC Motors, passive air bearings, vacuum systems, rotating seals. Assembly & Testing: Experience building and troubleshooting high-precision assemblies Instrumentation: Knowledge of product validation and test procedures Manufacturing Processes: Knowledge of manual/CNC machining, and gravity die casting. Requirements Strong Engineering Degree (or expert specialist) Minimum 6 years of relevant and high-impact industrial experience (excl. academic) Full UK driving licence Achieved or eligible for IMechE membership (CEng or IEng) UK/EU passport preferable, DBS clearable, solid references, and clear to visit the USA Highly fluent in English (written and spoken) Located near Horsham / Crawley or able to commute 50/50 hybrid ADZN1_UKTJ
