As Deputy Lead, youll play a pivotal role in establishing and shaping a compassionate, effective, and innovative service designed to make a real difference to adults experiencing common mental health problems.

As Deputy Service Lead your role will be to support the Service Lead in the strategic and operational delivery of the new Talking Therapies service.

Job responsibilities
What Youll Do:
* Support the Service Lead in the strategic and operational delivery of the new Talking Therapies service
* Provide clinical supervision and line management to a team of PCE-CfD and other modality-trained therapists
* Maintain a small clinical caseload to support high-quality, client-centred care
* Work closely with local partners, commissioners, and stakeholders to ensure seamless integration and service accessibility
* Promote a culture of reflective practice, staff wellbeing, and continuous improvement
Person Specification
Experience
* Experience working within NHS Talking Therapies (formerly IAPT) or similar mental health services
* Strong leadership or supervisory experience (or a desire to develop these skills further)
* A passion for evidence-based practice, staff development, and service innovation
Qualifications
* A PCE-CfD qualification (Postgraduate training in Person-Centred Experiential Counselling for Depression)
* Accreditation with BACP or another relevant professional body
