Role: Account Manager
Salary - £45,000 - £50,000 DOE + 5% bonus
Office Based – Chandlers Ford
Role Overview:
You will be responsible for managing and nurturing relationships with assigned clients within the specified segment. The role focuses on ensuring client satisfaction, identifying opportunities for growth, and collaborating with internal teams to deliver effective products, and upsell additional solutions. The Account Manager plays a key role in maintaining customer loyalty and achieving sales objectives.
Major Accountabilities
Account Management:
* Build and maintain strong relationships with assigned clients.
* Serve as the primary contact for client inquiries and related issues.
* Understand client needs and provide appropriate solutions.
Sales Growth:
* Identify opportunities to grow business within existing accounts.
* Assist in the development of proposals and sales presentations for applicable products & solutions in the segment.
* Work towards achieving individual and team sales targets in the segment.
Client Satisfaction:
* Conduct regular check-ins and reviews with clients.
* Ensure client satisfaction through timely resolution of issues and proactive communication.
* Collect and act on client feedback to improve service quality.
Market Awareness:
* Keep informed about industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities in the smart metering industry.
* Provide market feedback to the sales and product development teams.
Team Collaboration:
* Collaborate with internal teams, including marketing, product development, and customer service, to deliver cohesive solutions.
* Participate in team meetings and contribute to strategy discussions.
Reporting and Documentation:
* Maintain accurate records of client interactions and sales activities in the CRM system.
* Prepare regular reports on account status and sales performance. Present account updates and progress reports to management.

Ideal Candidate
Education:
* Batchelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Energy Management, or a related field (not essential)
Experience:
* Minimum of 3 years of experience in account management or sales, preferably in the smart metering or related energy sector.
* Demonstrated ability to manage client relationships and achieve sales targets
