Structured Cabling (Birmingham) Position: Contract Labourer Industry: Structured Cabling / Data Installation Location: Birmingham Start Date: January 2025 End Date: April 2025 Rate: £200 per day (contract) About the Role We are recruiting a reliable Contract Labourer to support a structured cabling project in Birmingham from January to April 2025. The role involves assisting engineers with Cat6 cabling installation and general site support duties. This is a great opportunity for someone looking to develop experience in data cabling. Key Responsibilities Assist engineers with pulling, routing, and dressing Cat6 cabling Support basic containment installation (tray, basket, trunking) Move, carry, and organise materials and tools Perform general labouring tasks on site Maintain safe and tidy work areas Follow instructions from senior engineers and supervisors Requirements Previous labouring experience on construction or fit-out sites (essential) Any experience working with Cat6 cabling is an advantage Valid ECS card required (CSCS not accepted) Physically fit; comfortable with repetitive manual tasks Reliable, punctual, team-focused, and eager to learn What We Offer £ 200 per day Contract running January-April 2025 Weekly pay Opportunity to grow into data cabling roles Work on reputable commercial projects in Birmingham
