Senior Associate, Global Compliance and Reporting (GCR), Service Management Office, Tax, Belfast
Location: Belfast
We’re looking for a Senior Associate to join our Global Compliance and Reporting Service Management Office in Belfast.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as first point of contact for extended EY teams preparing deliverables (Tax Returns, Financial Statements, etc.)
* Escalate issues when teams lack client data or need support on scope.
* Work daily with EY colleagues/engagement teams, reporting directly to your Engagement Manager and supporting clients.
* Participate in internal client catch‑ups, conference calls and Teams meetings.
* Support the wider team (UK and Bangalore) with day‑to‑day client contact and delivery:
o Review regular Service Management and tracking reports.
o Reach out to EY local offices to answer ad‑hoc client questions.
o Resolve escalated client issues with support from wider teams.

* Collaborate effectively with extended teams across multiple jurisdictions.
Requirements
* Excellent MS Excel and Word skills.
* Strong team player who adds value to the current team.
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
* High attention to detail.
* Experience conducting quality reviews.
Preferred
* Proven work record in a similar environment.
* Experience in tax or accounting (not required, but beneficial).
* Project Management qualifications (Prince2, PMP, or equivalent) are advantageous.
