Mid Argyll and Kintyre area are situated in one of the most scenic parts of the West Coast of Scotland.
There are great opportunities for exploring the outdoors with access to many local sporting events.
This includes the Mid Argyll Triathlon and the Mull of Kintyre (MOK) run.
Both annual events see athletes from across Scotland travel to attend.
There are the beautiful islands of Arran, Jura, Gigha and Islay which all have daily ferry services.
These islands are great to explore for a daytrip or a weekend getaway.
The main town of Oban is a 50-minute drive from Mid Argyll.
This post will allow you to develop your clinical and non-clinical skills in line with the NHS Education for Scotland (NES) post- registration foundation programme.
Youll deliver increasingly complex person-centred care across a range of settings, develop your prescribing capabilities, integrate with our pharmacy and wider multi-professional teams.
Youll be supported by an educational supervisor throughout your training along with our experienced pharmacy teams.
The Mid Argyll, Kintyre & Islay pharmacy team provide clinical pharmacy input into mental services, community hospitals and GP practices.
This post is based in either Lochgilphead and Campbeltown and will involve regular travel to both areas therefore a full, current driving licence and use of own car for work purposes is essential.
The rural nature of the posts provides variety and the opportunity to develop new skills.
Please note the post is not suitable for routine remote working.
You must have a Masters degree in Pharmacy or equivalent and be on the practising register of the General Pharmaceutical Council.
