OVERALL PURPOSE OF THE ROLE: To manage and coordinate the compliant and efficient dispatch, transportation, import, and export of goods and services across the group. PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES: Implement and execute strategies for despatch of goods and/or services across the Ipeco Group to meet the Logistics Functional Procedure. Implement and execute strategies for despatch of goods and/or services across the Ipeco Group to meet the Logistics Functional KPIs. Implement and execute strategies to meet import and export compliance activities in line with Incoterms and any legislation that may be in force (including but not limited to tariffs, restrictions, temporary import/export). Implement and execute strategies for the transportation of hazardous goods and substances in the UK and overseas. Ensure that the Company has appropriate systems to enable it to conduct its logistics activities both lawfully and ethically. Work collaboratively with other functions to support Programme and Business objectives. Conduct activities in accordance with all applicable laws and the Companys standards and policies, including environmental, safety, and health policies. Implement appropriate processes to maintain compliance with legal, regulatory, and statutory obligations. Represent the Business by maintaining high standards of corporate citizenship and social responsibility. Carry out any other tasks, when and where reasonable and relevant, when required. ESSENTIAL REQUIREMENTS: Experience in logistics, shipping, or supply chain operations within a manufacturing/engineering environment Experience using ERP systems such as SAP or similar logistics systems Experience coordinating domestic and international shipments Experience working with import and export processes, customs documentation, and Incoterms Experience ensuring compliance with logistics procedures, regulations, and company policies Ability to maintain accurate records and documentation Ability to work independently while collaborating in a team environment Ability to work under pressure and to deadlines DESIRABLE REQUIREMENTS: GCSE English and Maths (or equivalent) at grade C or above.
