About the role:
You'll join our in-house creative team, helping to deliver high-quality content that aligns with NEXT’s brand principles and creative vision. It's a fast-paced role that demands a proactive and hardworking individual with the maturity and empathy to guide a team through effective communication and collaboration.
As a key member of the team, you will aid your Creative Lead in providing strong guidance on image quality, training, planning, and resourcing. You'll work closely with in-house stylists, photographers, and assistants, building strong relationships and ensuring our photographic vision is maintained across all in-house photography teams. This role requires you to stay ahead of the curve, constantly researching new trends, competitors, and industry movements to keep our creative approach fresh and innovative.
You will be responsible for a wide range of tasks, from conducting performance reviews and 1-to-1s to implementing new training and development plans. Your ability to think outside the box and work collaboratively on individual and team projects is essential. You'll also be the point of contact for technical support, creating presentations, and ensuring the consistency of our creative output from start to finish.
About you:
* You have previous management experience, preferably within a large creative studio environment.
* You're knowledgeable about photography, styling, retouching, and lighting techniques, with competence in using Capture One and Photoshop.
* You have a working knowledge of Canon equipment and a strong understanding of Mac operating systems.
* You are an assertive and constructive individual with the confidence to provide feedback and present to a variety of audiences.
* You can conduct clear and cohesive training sessions.
* You are forward-thinking and innovative, with superior planning, workload management, and organisational capabilities.
* You have a portfolio that showcases your creative and professional skills.
