Here at Blue Skies Education, we are partnering with a special school in Greenwich that provides education for CYPs (children and young people) with SEMH profiles. The CYPs at this school do not attend mainstream education due to challenging behaviors and require additional support that cannot be provided in a typical setting.
The CYPs often have backgrounds of trauma, adverse childhood experiences, and/or are neurodivergent, e.g., ADHD, ASC.
We are seeking a behaviour mentor to support, mentor, and inspire these children and teenagers. This is a unique opportunity to make a meaningful difference in their lives and guide them through challenging phases.
Ideally, candidates will have a degree in psychology, criminology, or creative arts (art, drama, music), as these areas provide valuable experience to support diverse learning approaches.
This role initially involves working as an agency worker through Blue Skies Education, with potential for a permanent contract with the school if the placement is successful.
We welcome compassionate, confident, inspiring, and skilled communicators who are genuinely interested in making a difference for CYPs, even if they lack direct experience in similar roles.
