SEN Teaching Assistant
Location: Peterlee
Pay: £90–£100 per day
Contract: Full-time, long-term
This role is within a setting supporting pupils with Social, Emotional and Mental Health needs. The school is looking for an SEN TA who can build strong relationships and provide consistent support.
Key Responsibilities
* Support pupils with SEMH needs in and out of the classroom
* Assist with behaviour support strategies
* Promote emotional regulation and engagement
* Work alongside teachers and pastoral teams
The Ideal Candidate
* Experience in SEN, SEMH, youth work or care
* Strong resilience and empathy
* Confident managing challenging behaviour positively

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
