Service Controller Bradford £35,000 – £40,000 + Pension + Holidays + Bonus NEOS Engineering Recruitment are working with a well-established, national plant hire business who are looking to appoint a Service Controller / Breakdown Manager for their busy Bradford depot. This is a fast-paced, reactive role where you’ll be the heartbeat of the depot – managing breakdowns, scheduling engineers and keeping fleet downtime to an absolute minimum. You’ll be the link between customers, mobile engineers and the workshop, ensuring jobs are logged, prioritised and completed efficiently. The Role: • Managing incoming breakdown calls and prioritising response times • Scheduling field engineers and allocating workloads effectively • Liaising with customers to provide updates and manage expectations • Ordering parts and coordinating with suppliers • Monitoring fleet availability and minimising downtime • Ensuring job sheets, service records and compliance paperwork are accurate and up to date The Candidate: • Previous experience as a Service Controller, Breakdown Controller or Workshop Controller within plant hire, heavy plant, powered access or similar • Strong organisational skills and able to perform under pressure • Good technical understanding of plant machinery • Confident communicator who can manage engineers and customers professionally &...
