A vibrant and nurturing primary school located between Cambridge and Peterborough is seeking a passionate and dedicated Reception Teacher to join their Early Years team from September 2025. This is a full-time, temp-to-perm position—ideal for a practitioner who thrives on helping young children build strong emotional, social, and academic foundations.

Your Role as Reception Teacher
*
Plan and deliver engaging, purposeful learning in line with the EYFS framework
*
Create a safe, happy, and stimulating environment that nurtures each child’s potential
*
Use assessment effectively to monitor progress and personalise learning
*
Work collaboratively with EYFS staff and support assistants
*
Build strong relationships with parents and carers, supporting learning at home
*
Contribute to a creative and inclusive Early Years curriculum
What We’re Looking For
*
Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
*
Experience teaching in EYFS, ideally in a Reception setting
*
Sound understanding of the EYFS Statutory Framework and child development
*
A warm, enthusiastic and reflective approach to teaching
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills
*
