About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our dynamic team At Revvity Discovery. This role is newly created to develop a seamless flow of materials and products through our supply chain, supporting several different business streams in achieving their customer goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally to forecast demand, assisting in managing inventory, and optimize supply plans to meet business objectives.
About The Role
We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Demand Planner to join our dynamic team At Revvity Discovery. This role is newly created to develop a seamless flow of materials and products through our supply chain, supporting several different business streams in achieving their customer goals. You will collaborate cross-functionally to forecast demand, assisting in managing inventory, and optimize supply plans to meet business objectives.
Key Responsibilities
* Develop and maintain supply plans for raw materials and consumables across multiple business streams. Based on demand inputs from sales, project management and scientific operations
* Collaborate with sales, project management, scientific operations, procurement, and lab operations teams to ensure alignment of supply with project demand.
* Develop supply plans based on demand inputs from sales, project management and scientific operations
* Monitor inventory levels and implement strategies to minimize stockouts and excess inventory
* Identify and mitigate supply risks, including capacity constraints, lead time variability, and supplier reliability
* Support new product introductions and phase-outs with robust supply planning
* Analyse supply chain performance metrics and recommend improvements
* Collaborating with cross functional groups to develop planning parameters in ERP systems
* Participate in S&OP (Sales & Operations Planning) processes and contribute to cross-functional planning meetings
* Contribute to digital transformation initiatives, including the implementation of advanced planning tools, automation, and data analytics
Qualifications
* Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Life Sciences, or related field.
* 3+ years of experience in supply planning, preferably in the biotech, pharmaceutical, or life sciences industry.
* Strong analytical skills and proficiency in Excel and ERP systems.
* Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
* Ability to work in a fast-paced, regulated environment with cross-functional teams.
* APICS or similar supply chain certification is a plus.
