Role Overview:
We are delighted to present a Fixed-Term 12 month Nutritionist position based at our office in Nottingham. The position includes regular working hours from Monday to Friday 9am - 5pm.
The Nutritionist will offer customized guidance on diet, nutrition, and lifestyle changes to clients, helping them achieve and maintain a healthy weight and enhance their overall wellness.
In this role, you will implement evidence-backed nutritional advice and behavior change strategies in one-on-one consultations, ensuring the safety and effectiveness of our weight management programs. Your responsibilities will include managing a caseload, using technology to support progress, optimising resources to help clients reach their health goals.
Key Responsibilities:
* Conduct virtual coaching sessions, focusing on:
* Initial assessments and triage
* Collaborative goal-setting with clients
* Lifestyle modification support
* Tailored problem-solving
* Employing motivational interviewing techniques
* Referring clients to additional services when needed
* Ensure your sessions are engaging, appropriate for all ages, factual, evidence-informed, culturally sensitive, enjoyable, practical, and holistic.
Candidate Profile:
Essential:
* Possess a recognized degree in Nutrition, registered with AFN, or a Dietetics degree registered with HCPC, including evidence of ongoing professional development.
* Proven track record in facilitating behavior change groups for diverse populations, including vulnerable groups.
* Skilled in managing a caseload with a digital Case Management System.
* Experienced in developing educational content and lesson planning for health and nutrition topics.
* Competent in data handling, ensuring precision in fast-paced settings.
* Familiarity with health, social, or community care settings.
* Desirable qualifications include:
* Accredited health coaching certification.
* Direct experience in delivering health coaching.
* Background in addressing specific behavioral health changes like smoking cessation or increasing physical activity.
* Experience with long-term health conditions or supporting individuals with special needs.

Duties
- Conducting assessments of clients' dietary needs and health goals

- Educating clients on the importance of balanced nutrition
- Monitoring clients' progress and adjusting plans as needed
- Keeping up-to-date with the latest nutritional research and guidelines
Requirements
- Degree in Nutrition or Dietetics
- Registration with the British Dietetic Association (BDA)
- Excellent communication skills
- Strong analytical abilities
- Ability to empathise with clients' needs and concerns

Pay: £25,000.00-£27,000.00 per year
