The Indian Cuisine Restaurant Supervisor is responsible for overseeing daily operations, ensuring exceptional service, and maintaining authentic culinary standards. This role involves managing staff, liaising with suppliers, and driving customer satisfaction and profitability through effective menu development and promotional strategies.

Responsibilities :

1. Menu Development and Promotion :

2. Collaborate with chefs to design and regularly update the restaurant menu.

3. Develop and implement strategies to promote new menu items and seasonal specials.

4. Partnership and Liaison :

5. Establish and maintain strong relationships with delivery partners to ensure prompt and accurate service.

6. Negotiate contracts and agreements with suppliers and service providers.

7. Inventory and Quality Control :

8. Oversee inventory management to prevent shortages or excess stock.

9. Ensure all ingredients and products meet the restaurant's quality standards.
10. Conduct regular audits to maintain compliance with food safety regulations.

11. Sales Campaigns and Promotions :

12. Develop and execute marketing campaigns to drive foot traffic and increase sales.

13. Analyze sales data to identify trends and opportunities for growth.

14. Customer Relations and Service :

15. Ensure exceptional customer service and address customer complaints or concerns promptly.

16. Engage with guests to assess their dining experiences and gather feedback for improvements.

17. Hygiene and Safety Standards :

18. Monitor and enforce hygiene and food safety standards to comply with health regulations.

19. Conduct regular staff training on safety procedures and hygiene practices.

20. Staff Management and Scheduling :

21. Oversee the recruitment, training, and development of staff members.

22. Manage the rota system and track employee attendance and hours worked.

23. Financial Management :

24. Prepare and manage budgets, forecasts, and financial reports.

25. Implement cost-control measures to maximize profitability.

26. Driving License:

27. Having a valid driving license will be advantageous for undertaking specific management duties or errands.

Qualifications :

* Minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
* Excellent leadership and interpersonal skills.
* Proficient in using restaurant management software and tools.
* Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
* Flexibility to work evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: £25,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
