BMS Test Engineer & SCRUM Tester As a BMS Test Engineer & SCRUM Tester here at Honeywell, you will play a vital role in ensuring the quality and reliability of our building management system (BMS) solutions. You will be responsible for designing, executing, and managing test plans and strategies within an Agile SCRUM environment to deliver high-quality software and system integrations that enhance building automation and energy efficiency. You will report directly to our Test Manager and you'll work out of our Horsham, UK location on a Hybrid work schedule. In this role, you will impact the successful delivery of scalable, future-ready building automation systems by collaborating closely with cross-functional teams including development, product management, and system integrators. Your testing expertise will help drive continuous improvement in software quality and system performance. Collaborate with SCRUM team members to define test requirements, acceptance criteria, and ensure alignment with sprint goals. Identify, document, and track defects, working closely with developers and product owners to resolve issues promptly. Participate in SCRUM ceremonies including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, sprint reviews, and retrospectives to support Agile delivery. Contribute to continuous improvement of testing processes, automation efforts, and quality assurance best practices. YOU MUST HAVE Bachelor's degree from an accredited institution in a technical discipline such as science, technology, engineering, mathematics Minimum of 4 years of experience in BMS, with testing experience in software and systems, or related automation domains Strong knowledge of Agile SCRUM methodologies and experience working as a tester within SCRUM teams Proficiency in test case design, execution, defect tracking, and test management tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or equivalent Experience with automation testing tools and scripting languages relevant to BMS environments WE VALUE Experience with building automation protocols and standards such as BACnet, Modbus, or MBus Knowledge of software development lifecycle and continuous integration/continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with attention to detail Ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced, cross-functional Agile environment Our Offer Work for a well-known brand with a continued focus on innovation and growth.
