HSEQ Coordinator

The HSEQ Coordinator is responsible for assisting the HSEQ manager in all aspects of Health, Safety, Environment and Quality for the Southampton facilities. Also, ensuring there is effective and efficient process’s and procedures in place in accordance with the WWS management system (WoW) and the requirements of the terminals ISO certifications. This includes the adoption and following of not only internally produced procedures but those of global policies and applicable customer policies.


Job Description


WHAT YOU'LL DO

1. Support and assist the HSEQ Manager in the day-to-day departmental duties.
2. Carry out audits and active monitoring on WWS departments and facilities to ensure legal compliance and serviceability. Liaise with relevant staff, partners and suppliers to ensure issues are reported, rectified and standards maintained ensuring compliance with ISO 1/ and standards.
3. Support the HSEQ Manager with the annual renewal process for all HSEQ documentation required for the document review, ISO audits and Management review process.
4. To assist the HSEQ manager with external and internal ISO audits.
5. Ensure the Leadership team at all levels are kept up to date on latest legal, procedural or industrial trends.
6. Liaise with the Health & Safety Executive (HSE) as required and assist with the legal reporting process where necessary.
7. Assist in the maintenance of and production of legal documentation, such as, but not limited to The Environmental Aspects Register, The Environmental Risk Register, the Health and Safety Legal Register and Facility Stakeholder Analysis.
8. Assist with all Terminal procurements and quotes in line with GAP and GAM requirements and prepare documents for SMT approval such as Safety reports, Active monitoring reports, Incident reports, weekly safety cross, Legionella checks, and fire alarm tests.
9. Prepare HSEQ department reports as and when required (for example, KPIs, FUEL USE, ACCIDENTS etc).
10. Carry out checks on WWS facilities to ensure legal compliance and serviceability. Liaise with relevant suppliers to ensure issues are reported, rectified and standards maintained.
11. Check, code and approve invoices for all items order and within area of responsibility
12. Provide ad-hoc HSEQ administrative support as and when required.
13. Act as an Ambassador for the business at all times by acting as mentor/guide and setting a good example to others.
14. Assist the HSEQ manager or other regional HSEQ managers in audit support, either in person or remotely.
15. Deputise for the HSEQ Supervisor as required.

25. Travel- International travel maybe required to visit/assist other facilities within the company.

28. Willingness to undertake relevant training and development, including but not limited to further development to the IOSH Diploma in H&S, Leadership training and any other defined relevant developmental courses.
29. Positive attitude to work.
30. Meet changing priorities and business needs in a flexible manner.
31. Ability to understand, accept and enjoy cultural differences.
32. English is our global business language, fluent English language skills required.
33. Full clean UK driving license
34. MS Office – Word, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.

EVEN BETTER IF YOU HAVE

35. NEBOSH Occupational Health and Safety qualification and ideally a member of IOSH.
36. NEBOSH Environmental management qualification.
37. Qualified in ISO auditing.
