Overview
We are recruiting for a Field Business Development Manager to work in our Intermediary Development Team and help grow our Mortgage business. Location: Scotland. The role is remote with travel across Scotland; it is a field-based position. 35 hours per week. A full clean UK driving licence is required.
What You Will Be Doing
* Be aligned to the Scotland region and promote the Intermediary strategy.
* Manage a panel of key broker firms to grow the business Skipton receives by promoting propositions that align with the firm’s client base.
* Act as the first point of contact to discuss new business opportunities and apply a common-sense approach.
* Attend industry events and network with existing and new partnerships.
* Maintain and develop key stakeholder relationships both internally and externally.
* Analyze MI to add value to the quality of business Skipton receives.
What Do We Need From You?
* Experience in identifying and developing new business opportunities and the ability to influence others.
* Ability to work independently and as part of a team to support regional performance.
* Proven track record of building effective networks internally and externally through both face-to-face and virtual interactions.
* Experience in building and managing business relationships to increase market share.
* Strong financial services knowledge with the ability to analyse business trends and act accordingly.
* Due to the role being field based, you will need to hold a full clean UK driving licence.
