The IVAS unit Delivers inpatient and outpatient services to patients who require intravenous therapies and vascular access device insertion, care and maintenance. The Successful Candidate Will Be Experienced In The administration of intravenous therapy, placing peripheral cannula and undertaking venepuncture Managing vascular access devices Using electronic patient records such as EPIC We welcome applications from newly qualified nurses graduating from UK Universities who are starting their careers this year. To Support and work in conjunction with the IVAS team in the delivery of outpatient and ambulatory care IV services, on the Frimley site. The aim of this post is to support the IVAS team in delivering outpatient IV services to prevent admission or readmission to the Trust and where possible deliver bespoke IV services to patients. Main duties: IV therapy administration, Venepuncture and cannulation, Vascular access device care and maintenance, Working with EPIC This clinical role is part of developing and increasing IV services framework for Frimley site of Frimley Health.
