Senior Geoenvironmental Consultant – Exeter, UK
Stantec is seeking a Senior Geotechnical/Geoenvironmental Consultant to join our Exeter office in the Science Park off the M5 Junction 29. The role involves leading ground investigation and design on a range of projects in renewables, defence, justice, commercial and residential sectors.
Responsibilities
* Lead and supervise ground investigations, ensuring compliance with Health & Safety and environmental protection standards.
* Interpret field data and prepare clear, concise, technically robust reports tailored to client needs.
* Apply up-to-date British Standards (e.g., BS EN 5930), Industry Guidance (EA LCRM) and NHBC Standards in field and design work.
* Manage geo projects and coordinate with other disciplines across Stantec.
* Support construction phase activities as required.
* Maintain a full UK Driving Licence.
Qualifications
* BSc, MSc or BEng (or higher) in Geology, Civil Engineering, Environmental Science, or Earth Sciences.
* Substantial postgraduate experience within the geo industry.
