The role
Position: Team Leader Location: Near Warrington Setting: 3-Bed EBD Children's Home Shift Pattern: 2 Days On / 4 Days Off Sleep-ins: Two sleep-ins per rotation paid at £75 per sleep About the Role We are looking for an experienced Team Leader to support the management team in the day-to-day running of a 3-bed EBD children's home. This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Residential Support Worker looking to progress or an existing Team Leader seeking a new challenge. Key Responsibilities • Leading shifts and supporting Residential Childcare Workers • Ensuring safeguarding and care standards are maintained • Supporting care planning, risk assessments, and key working responsibilities • Promoting positive outcomes for young people • Maintaining accurate records and ensuring compliance with regulations • Supporting staff development and mentoring junior team members • Assisting management with the smooth operation of the home Requirements • Previous experience within children's residential care • Experience leading shifts or supervising staff • Strong safeguarding knowledge • Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare (essential) • Level 4 or Level 5 qualification desirable • Full UK Driving Licence preferred • Ability to work a 2-on / 4-off rota including sleep-ins
