Marketing and Audiences Officer at The Harlington – Salary £30,000 (full-time, 37.5 hours).
We are looking for a Marketing and Audiences Officer to join our team at Fleet’s entertainment venue, The Harlington. The Officer will help increase the venue’s visibility and bookings, support the creation and marketing of events and shows, and ensure a first-class customer experience at reception/box office during normal and extended opening hours and at performance times. The Harlington is a small venue with rooms for hire, a dance studio, bars and auditorium space for theatre, cabaret and events. The role will also support Ancells Farm Community Centre with its automated bookings. Both venues are managed by Fleet Town Council. The Harlington is in a period of change and growth, and we are seeking someone who can grow with us.

Responsibilities
* Support the Marketing and Audiences Manager to increase venue visibility and bookings
* Plan, market and coordinate events and shows at the venue
* Provide a first-class customer experience at reception/box office during normal and extended hours and at performances
* Assist with general venue administration, ticketing, and box office operations
* Support sales generation and explore opportunities to increase revenue
* Collaborate with teams to ensure consistent branding and messaging across channels
* Learn and apply in-house training and industry best practices
Qualifications and Skills
* Friendly, outgoing personality; strong work ethic
* Ability to work both in a team and on solo projects
* Experience in a live entertainment environment
* Marketing experience across social media and print
* Experience with newsletters or CMS systems such as Mailchimp
* Storytelling skills for business use
* Experience with Photoshop, InDesign, Excel and other Microsoft Office programs (e.g., Publisher)
* High literacy and numeracy skills
* Ability to meet tight deadlines and manage a varied workload
* Willingness to learn new skills
* Ticketing or box office experience
* Creative skills such as photography or videography are a plus
