As a Sales Support Specialist, you’ll play a key role in supporting the sales function by ensuring the efficient execution of sales administration, quoting, and customer communication activities. You will work closely with Sales, Service, and Procurement teams to deliver a seamless experience for both contracted and non-contracted customers.This role is central to enabling revenue growth by maintaining accurate systems, generating timely and accurate quotes, and supporting transactional renewals across hardware, software, and licensing. You will ensure all sales operations run smoothly, allowing Account Managers and Sales teams to focus on strategic customer engagement and growth.Key ResponsibilitiesSales Operations & AdministrationManage day-to-day sales administration tasks to support the wider Sales teamMaintain accurate and up-to-date records across CRM and internal systemsProcess sales orders, ensuring accuracy and completenessQuoting & RenewalsGenerate and issue quotes for hardware, software, and licensing requestsManage renewal of transactional items, ensuring timely engagement with customersLiaise with suppliers and procurement to obtain competitive pricingCustomer CommunicationAct as a key point of contact for non-contracted customers, handling inbound enquiriesProvide timely and professional responses to sales queries and requestsOrder Management & Delivery SupportProcess approved quotes and ensure robust handover to procurement and delivery teamsSupport the coordination of hardware, software, and licensing delivery on transactional ordersCollaboration & Continuous ImprovementWork cross-functionally with Sales, Technical, Procurement, Finance, and Service teamsIdentify opportunities to improve processes, efficiency, and customer experienceSupport wider sales initiatives and projects as requiredSkills & ExperienceExperience in a sales support, sales administration, or similar operational roleExperience working within IT Managed Services or a technology-focused environment (preferred)Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise and manage multiple tasksExperience generating quotes and managing order processing workflowsCustomer-focused with excellent written and verbal communication skillsComfortable working with CRM systems (Autotask) and Microsoft Office toolsHigh attention to detail with a focus on accuracy and data integrityAttributesHighly organised and proactive, with a strong attention to detailTeam player who works collaboratively across departmentsPositive, resilient, and able to work in a fast-paced environmentCustomer-centric approach, focused on delivering a high-quality experienceTakes ownership of tasks and follows through to completionDesirableExperience supporting sales teams within a managed services or MSP environmentFamiliarity with IT products such as cloud services, licensing, hardware, and security solutionsExposure to sales processes including quoting, renewals, and order fulfilment
