Senior Support Worker

Shift Pattern: 16-24 Hour shifts (including Sleep-in), on a one on two off or two on four off basis.
A typical day for a Senior Support Worker might include:
* Leading shifts and deputising for the Registered Manager when required
* Supporting the development of Residential Care Workers through mandatory training and mentoring
* Communicating with the team about care plans and their implementation
* Maintaining accurate records in logs, sheets, and files for monitoring and evaluation
* Participating in team and staff meetings
* Providing direct support and care to young people
* Encouraging engagement in education and activities
* Traveling with young people to and from school or college
* Preparing meals and maintaining the home environment (cleaning, laundry, etc.)
* Organising and facilitating social activities

Requirements:
* Full UK driving license
* Desire to earn a Level 3 Diploma in Residential Childcare or equivalent
* 12 months senior experience in a Residential setting is highly desirable, but applications from those starting their journey are encouraged
* DBS and reference checks will be conducted in line with government regulations and safer recruitment practices
