Vitalis is recruiting an experienced Youth Justice Officer to work in a team at Manchester City Council.

About the Candidate
* The role requires focus, dynamism, and passion to support young people.
* Experience with Transitions and the Probation Service is desirable.
* The officer will collaborate with key partners to enhance public protection, safeguard young people's needs, and reduce youth offending within a desistance framework.
* Understanding or experience of working within the Criminal Justice system is essential.
* Self-motivated, creative, flexible, and pragmatic with the ability to perform timely assessments and deliver high-quality face-to-face interventions.
* Ability to supervise cases, make referrals, manage risks, and develop supervision plans based on assessments.
* Strong communication and motivational skills are necessary to achieve the best outcomes for young people.
* NVQ Level 4 or relevant experience required.
