We are looking for a dedicated and enthusiastic Year 5 Teacher to join a supportive and forward-thinking team. This is an excellent opportunity for a passionate educator to make a real impact on pupils’ learning and development during this vital stage of Key Stage 2. Beginning June 2025.
Duties as a Year 5 Teacher:
* Plan and deliver engaging, creative, and well-structured lessons in line with the Year 5 curriculum
* Assess and monitor pupils' progress, adapting teaching to meet the needs of all learners
* Create a positive and inclusive classroom environment with high expectations for behaviour and achievement
* Work effectively with teaching assistants, colleagues, and parents to support pupil outcomes
* Contribute to the wider life of the school through enrichment, clubs, or school events
Ideal Year 5 Teacher:
* Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
* Experience teaching in Key Stage 2 (preferably in Year 5)
* Strong knowledge of the primary curriculum and effective assessment strategies
* Excellent communication and organisational skills as a Year 5 Teacher.
* A creative and reflective approach to teaching
* A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children
