The Role
As a Digital Analyst, you'll play a key role in optimising the online customer journey through in-depth analysis using GA4. Reporting to the Customer Digital Analytics Lead, you’ll work cross-functionally to provide insights that support decision-making and improve digital performance across multiple business units. This role is ideal for someone who’s technically strong, commercially aware, and confident working with a wide range of stakeholders.
Key Responsibilities
* Analyse the customer journey and website performance across key KPIs (sales, transactions, engagement).
* Lead GA4 audits, implementations, and reporting – becoming the subject matter expert within the team.
* Build and maintain dashboards using Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
* Support A/B testing initiatives and provide actionable recommendations to enhance the digital experience.
* Collaborate with internal teams to present findings and influence strategy.
* Stay informed on digital and retail trends, customer behaviour, and market dynamics.
Required Skills & Experience
* Strong GA4 experience – implementation, auditing, and analysis.
* Proficiency in data visualisation tools such as Power BI, Tableau, or Looker.
* Solid understanding of A/B testing and using data to optimise performance.
* SQL experience, within BigQuery
* Strong stakeholder management skills – confident communicator who can explain complex data clearly.
* Commercially minded with a curiosity for eCommerce and customer behaviour.
* Experience in the retail or eCommerce sector.
* Exposure to app analytics and omnichannel customer data.
