Job Description
Aureos are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Electrical Design Engineer to deliver high-quality designs for our projects including Rail, Energy and renewables.
This role requires a seasoned professional with experience in Electrical Designs, and a strong understanding of network requirements, to take on critical projects that will impact the future of the industry.
Key Responsibilities
* Act as Senior Electrical Design Engineer on projects as directed by the Discipline Lead.
* Projects will include Rail, Energy and Renewables.
* Experience working on multi-disciplinary projects.
* Experience interfacing with clients.
* Manage members of the Electrical Design team and provide mentorship to assist their development.
* Detailed knowledge of design calculation software including Trimble (ProDesign) / Relux / Etap.
* Committed to continuous professional development and learning.
* Good presentation and communication skills, both written and verbal.
Required Qualifications and Experience
* Minimum 10 years’ experience in Electrical design, 5 years if chartered
* Experience working within a BIM environment.
* Detailed knowledge of CDM Regulations.
Desirable
* Substation Building Services design experience.
* Proficiency in Network Rail E&P design.
* Previous CRE experience or able to demonstrate the performance and knowledge requirements of CRE01 as detailed in NR/L2/RSE/02009/01.
* IEng/CEng accreditation with relevant Engineering Institution or working towards.

* Ability to work under pressure while maintaining a high level of accuracy and quality.
* Computer literate, with proficiency in Microsoft Office applications.
Working Environment
This is a hybrid role, with the office based in Preston Brook. There may be an opportunity to work from offices in York or Sheffield as required.
