Role and Reporting Lines
Reporting to the Head of Finance and managing a payroll team of 3, this role sits within a wider finance team of approximately 20 people.
* Team Leadership – Lead and mentor a payroll team of 3
* Payroll Processing – Oversee accurate and timely UK payroll for a large headcount
* Compliance – Ensure full compliance with UK payroll regulations and reporting requirements
* Process Improvement – Identify and implement improvements to enhance payroll efficiency
* Stakeholder Engagement – Liaise with internal HR, Finance and external providers
* Systems Oversight – Maintain and optimise payroll software and systems
* Reporting – Deliver payroll reports and analysis to senior finance
* Project Support – Assist the Head of Finance in payroll-related projects and audits
