About the Role:
Harris Academy Rainham is seeking a confident and engaging History Cover Teacher to support our students across Years 7 to 13. You will be responsible for delivering high-quality lessons, managing classrooms effectively, and maintaining the academy’s standards during the absence of the regular teacher. This is an excellent opportunity for teachers looking to gain experience or contribute to a dynamic and supportive school environment.
Responsibilities:

Deliver History lessons following existing schemes of work.

Engage students and maintain discipline in the classroom.

Support learning across all key stages, including GCSE and A-Level.

Provide feedback to students and assist with assessments where required.
*
Collaborate with colleagues to ensure continuity of learning.
Requirements:

Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) or equivalent.
*
Experience teaching History at secondary level is preferred.
*
Strong classroom management and communication skills.
*
Flexible, adaptable, and reliable for short-term supply work
