Job Title: Kitchen Porter
Responsibilities:
- Clean and sanitise kitchen equipment, utensils, and work areas
- Assist with food preparation and plating under the direction of the chef
- Wash dishes, pots, pans, and other kitchenware
- Empty bins and maintain cleanliness in the kitchen
- Follow all health and safety regulations in the kitchen, EHO awareness critical
- Collaborate with the kitchen staff to ensure smooth operations
Due to our expansion and an internal promotion within our team, we are looking for a full time kitchen porter to join the team working 40 hours per week as part of expanding from 5 day to 7 day operation. If you are not afraid to get your hands dirty in an active, practical and fast paced environment then this role could be for you.
Some experience of working as a kitchen porter is essential and full training will be given. Successful applicants will be expect to maintain high levels of personal cleanliness, show patience, precision and have good communications skills.
