Senior Sales Manager – Contact Centre
Location: Manchester
Salary: Up to £45,000 basic + uncapped commission (OTE £75,000 – £90,000)
Experience: 5+ years’ sales management experience within a contact centre
The Role
As Senior Sales Manager, you will be responsible for leading, coaching, and developing a high-performing Sales Management team (Sales Managers / Team Leaders) within a fast-paced contact centre environment. This is a leadership-focused role with no direct customer-facing responsibility, centred on performance, strategy, and people development.
Key Responsibilities
* Lead, mentor, and performance-manage a team of Sales Managers
* Drive departmental KPIs through effective leadership and management capability
* Deliver structured coaching, training, and leadership development
* Set clear expectations, monitor performance, and support succession planning
* Work closely with senior leadership to implement sales strategy and operational improvements
* Build a high-performance, accountability-driven management culture
What We’re Looking For
* 5+ years’ experience managing Sales Managers / Team Leaders in a contact centre
* Strong background in B2B or B2C sales environments
* Proven experience leading high-volume teams of 10+ through management layers
