Fresh People are currently recruiting on behalf of a specialist food manufacturing business producing fruit and confectionery sauces for aMultiskilled Maintenance Engineerto join the site near Ashford, Kent, responsible for ensuring efficient and safe maintenance across a busy production environment.
Key Responsibilities:
1. Carry out scheduled preventive maintenance tasks to the required standard during the shift.
2. Identify causes of potential equipment failures or performance issues and either complete repairs during shift or communicate findings to the next shift and Engineering Team Leader.
3. Record all maintenance activities and issues on the shift log clearly and accurately.
4. Conduct and implement risk assessments before starting maintenance work to ensure hazards are removed and safety is prioritised.
