Transport Administrator
Location: Stow-on-the-Wold, GL54

Salary: £25,000 – £30,000 per annum (paid bi-weekly)

We’re looking for an organised and proactive Transport Administrator to join our Logistics and Operations team. You’ll play a key part in keeping our transport department running smoothly — ensuring all documentation, deliveries, and communications are managed accurately and efficiently.

Key Responsibilities
* Manage incoming and outgoing transport documentation including PODs, invoices, and delivery notes
* Process, validate, and archive Proof of Delivery (POD) documents within deadlines
* Coordinate delivery schedules and updates with drivers and third-party carriers
* Track deliveries and maintain accurate logs and records
* Update internal systems daily with transport and delivery information
* Liaise with warehouse staff, suppliers, and customers to resolve queries
* Ensure compliance through proper documentation and filing
* Support the Operations Manager in maintaining transport records for audits
* Prepare weekly and monthly reports on deliveries and transport KPIs
* Escalate unresolved or critical issues promptly
Skills & Experience
* Previous experience in transport, logistics, or administration (preferred)
* Strong attention to detail and organisational skills
* Proficient in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, Outlook)
* Familiarity with transport management systems (TMS) is an advantage
* Excellent written and verbal communication skills
* Proactive, reliable, and able to work independently or as part of a team
* Positive, problem-solving attitude
