We are currently seeking an experienced and dynamic Corporate Tax Director/Partner to join our team and lead our corporate tax advisory practice. Role Overview As the Head of Corporate Tax, you will play a critical role in shaping and driving our corporate tax strategy. You will be responsible for providing high-quality tax advisory services, managing client relationships, and leading a team of tax professionals. This position requires a deep understanding of UK corporate tax law, extensive experience in tax advisory and compliance, and the ability to deliver strategic tax solutions to our clients. Key Responsibilities Lead, manage and grow the corporate tax advisory and compliance practice, providing strategic direction and ensuring the delivery of high-quality tax services. Develop and implement innovative tax strategies and solutions to optimize tax positions for our clients. Advise clients on a wide range of tax issues, including corporate tax planning, compliance, M&A, international tax, and transfer pricing. Build and maintain strong client relationships, acting as a trusted advisor and identifying opportunities for business development and growth. Ensure compliance with UK tax laws and regulations, keeping abreast of changes in tax legislation and advising clients on the implications. Experience And Qualifications A minimum of 10-15 years of experience in corporate tax, with a significant portion spent in a senior leadership role. Extensive experience working within a professional services firm or a large corporate tax department. ACA/ACCA/CTA qualified or equivalent. In-depth knowledge of UK corporate tax legislation, with experience in advising on complex tax issues. Proven track record of successfully managing client relationships and delivering high-quality tax advisory services. Strong business development skills with a demonstrated ability to identify and capitalize on new business opportunities. Excellent leadership and team management skills, with a commitment to developing and mentoring junior staff. Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to explain complex tax issues to non-specialists.
