Job Title: Temporary Short Term Packing Operator
Location: PQ Silicas : Warrington Site
Salary: 5 Crew : GBP38,278.92 per annum
Job Type: Full Time, Temporary until end of Sept 25 (via agency)
Contract Start Date:ASAP
Contract End Date:30th September 2025

The Role
To safely carry out the duties of a chemical plant packer across multiple areas of the plant. Working on a variable shift pattern as part of a team.
Key Accountabilities
* Preparation and set:up of the packing system in line with standard instructions. Ensuring all packaging, equipment, labelling and raw materials are available for the specific planned product and tonnage.
* Working closely under the guidance of the Microniser Operator to meet set KPIs
* Adherence to packing guidelines for sampling, pack presentation, labelling, weight control, addition of additives, reworking and adhering to good manufacturing practice.
* Active involvement complying with safety, environmental and Company standards, including auditing, reporting, team improvement activities and housekeeping in multiple areas.
* Communicate both verbally and in written format, in a timely fashion. Including completion of batch documentation, handover, assisting others to improve knowledge and understanding
* Cleandown of process equipment and packing areas, maintaining GMP standards.
Experience, Skills And Qualifications (Preferable But Not Essential)
* Relevant Industrial experience
* Manual Handling skills
* Experience of 24 hour continuous shift working
* Units and elements of C and G PT2 Process Plant Operations or NVQ level 1
* Current FLT : powered hand truck license

Process Packers will carry out any task they have been deemed competent to do, provided that such activity can be completed safely.
