Key Responsibilities
As Electrical Supervisor, you will:
* Lead, mentor and manage a team of 5 shift electricians, 2-day electricians and 2 apprentices.
* Support and oversee mechanical fitters and builders in the absence of the Mechanical Supervisor.
* Mentor apprentices, helping shape the next generation of engineers.
* Deputise for the Engineering Manager when required, including attending leadership meetings.
* Manage staff timesheets and ensure effective workforce planning.
* Oversee electrical, instrumentation and control work requests in PEMAC and liaise with the Engineering Planner to allocate resources effectively.
* Share on-call responsibilities with the Mechanical Supervisor and Engineering Manager.
* Maintain and improve spare parts stock levels and stores organisation.
* Lead Level 1 Engineering Meetings and represent the team in cross-departmental meetings.
* Develop and implement preventative maintenance strategies, using condition-based monitoring techniques.
* Drive continuous safety improvements and set high standards for compliance.
* Plan, supervise, and deliver electrical, instrumentation and control work during plant shutdowns.
* Lead small improvement projects to enhance efficiency and reliability.
* Occasionally undertake hands-on electrical work as required.
About You
To succeed in this role, you will bring:
* A recognised electrical qualification.
* Extensive experience in a similar role (experience within the paper industry is highly desirable).
* Strong knowledge of preventative and condition-based monitoring techniques (preferred).
* Experience with CMMS systems (PEMAC experience beneficial).
* Proven ability to manage teams and deliver projects effectively.
* Excellent communication and leadership skills, with the confidence to make decisions and influence at all levels.
* A proactive attitude, with a willingness to learn, share knowledge, and lead by example.

Pay: £48,000.00-£55,000.00 per year
