This leading retailer is looking for a Senior non-food buyer to manage a key category, driving NPD and creating a compelling product range. This role is initially on a fixed-term contract for 12 months.
Responsibilities include:
1. Working closely with the Merchandising, Design, and Quality teams to expand into new product categories and improve current ranges.
2. Managing day-to-day range development, including sample development and selection.
3. Conducting sales analysis using market and customer insight data to inform buying decisions.
4. Sourcing, developing, and growing the product range.
5. Defining the pricing and promotional strategy for the category.
6. Achieving commercial results aligned with category targets to maximize revenue and margin.
7. Traveling within the UK and EU for trade shows, competitor shopping, and supplier visits.
8. Collaborating with the e-commerce team on content and photography.
