The Role: Make Your Mark on Major Projects In this key role, you will be responsible for the financial and commercial success of designated M&E projects. You'll be the crucial link between flawless project delivery and strong financial performance, ensuring projects are not only engineering excellence but also commercial successes. Your key responsibilities will include: Managing the end-to-end commercial process from tender to final account. Preparing accurate cost value reconciliations (CVRs) and monthly financial reporting. Procuring subcontract packages, managing subcontractor accounts from valuation to final payment. Preparing and agreeing interim valuations and invoices with clients. Identifying, pricing, and negotiating variations and contract claims. Providing astute commercial advice and risk management to the project delivery team. Ensuring timely and profitable agreement of final accounts. Who We Are Looking For: We are looking for a proactive and driven professional who is ready to take ownership and contribute to our success. You will have: A degree in Quantity Surveying or a related field. Proven experience in a commercial/quantity surveying role, ideally within the M&E or building services sector. A strong understanding of contractual frameworks (e.g., NEC, JCT) and their commercial implications. Exceptional financial and numerical skills with a keen eye for detail. Outstanding negotiation and communication skills, with the confidence to engage with clients, subcontractors, and internal stakeholders.
